Lantern Magnetic Flux Collimator is a passive magnetic-field alignment laboratory-grade instrument designed for high-fidelity audio and precision environments.
Its composite core — made of layered μ-metal and metallic fiber core — guides magnetic flux lines within near-field space, stabilising the electromagnetic balance around sensitive electronics.
Rotate Lantern slowly to adjust the orientation of its magnetic-field axis relative to your environment.
Different orientations modify how the internal high-permeability structure interacts with nearby magnetic fields, allowing you to explore the most stable and coherent field configuration for your setup.
For best results, place Lantern within 5–15 cm of the amplifier, DAC, or power transformer, where magnetic interactions are strongest.
Position it on a flat, vibration-free surface; alignment marks on the base allow repeatable placement and angular reference during tuning.
Rotate. Hear.
What does the Lantern Magnetic Flux Collimator actually do?
It organizes and stabilizes local magnetic flux lines in the near field of your equipment.
By adjusting its orientation, you can explore how magnetic alignment affects the electromagnetic environment around your audio setup.
Where should I place it?
Place Lantern close to magnetic sources such as amplifiers, DACs, or power transformers — typically within 5–15 cm.
For consistent results, use a flat, stable surface and note the angular reference mark on the base. Multiple Lantern units could be used in one system.
Is it an active or powered device?
Lantern is a completely passive instrument.
It contains no electronics or power supply.
Its operation relies on the geometry and permeability properties of the materials inside.
Will it change the sound of my system?
Lantern does not process audio signals directly.
However, it can influence the surrounding magnetic environment in which your system operates
— a factor that may subtly affect the way components interact with local magnetic field and electromagnetic waves, as well as their spatial relationship within the listening area.
For this reason, we encourage users to experiment with Lantern’s orientation to explore the configuration that provides the most coherent and pleasing soundstage in their setup.
Is it safe for my audio system?
Yes. Lantern is a completely passive device and poses no risk to your audio equipment or electronics.
However, due to the presence of high permeability materials, it is not recommended for people with pacemakers or other implanted medical devices to handle or operate it in close proximity.

Lantern Magnetic Flux Collimator is built upon magnetic shielding and flux-lensing technologies originally developed by RB Defence within advanced research programs in the fields of navigation, anomaly detection, and magnetic interferences shielding.
These technologies have been explored through collaborative grants and R&D initiatives supported by the Polish Ministry of Defence, NCBR, European Defence Fund and the European Space Agency.
This heritage of field-control engineering forms the foundation for Lantern’s unique design — translating precision methods used in navigational and defence-grade magnetometry into the domain of environmental field alignment for audio systems.
Lantern is powered by:
Lantern Magnetic Flux Collimator is distributed through a controlled-access program.
Each unit is serialized and supplied only to verified customers and research partners.
This policy exists to ensure that the technology, materials, and calibration processes remain applied exclusively within their intended context of precision field alignment in audio systems.
By maintaining a selective distribution model, we preserve the integrity of the design, guarantee traceability, and maintain consistency across all delivered units.
Each Lantern Magnetic Flux Collimator is hand-built and individually calibrated.
Availability is limited and reviewed manually for each request.
